What can you report to your customers?

We distinguish between reporting about your organisation as a whole and reporting about the specific service a customer buys from you. This helps CFIT understand what market participants can report today, so that the Recommendation asks for what is realistic. All questions are optional.

Your data centre services

Because you told us you offer services from data centres you operate. Data centres are at the start of the value chain: what you can share determines what everyone downstream can report.

Data from your own providers

Most services run on infrastructure from someone else. We want to understand what environmental data reaches you from your providers, and what you can pass on.

How detailed can your reporting be?

Detailed data helps customers find what drives their impact. Tell us what is possible for your services today.

Helping customers understand their impact

Some organisations also support their customers with services around environmental impact. This shows where public buyers can already find support in measuring and reporting impacts.

What do you find most challenging?

The draft Recommendation will be presented at the webinar. After that, the consultation gives you the opportunity to comment on its proposed requirements in detail.

How we use your contact details and responses

We treat your contact details and your survey responses separately. Please read how each is used and give your consent before you send the survey.

• Contact detailsYour name, organisation, position and email address are used to review your survey response, contact you regarding possible participation in the webinar and communicate relevant information about the consultation. They are not published and not shared beyond Leitmotiv and the CFIT coordination team.
• Survey responsesYour responses are analysed as part of the CFIT consultation on the draft Recommendation. Findings are shared with CFIT participants and may be published as an aggregated summary of the consultation findings.
• No individual responses publishedWe do not publish individual responses. Published findings do not identify you or your organisation unless you have explicitly agreed to this.

Privacy

Where it is stored

On servers in Germany and Finland (Hetzner). Each response is also sent by email to the CFIT coordination team for review.

Who can access it

Your contact details and individual responses: Stichting Leitmotiv and the CFIT coordination team. Aggregated findings: CFIT participants (see the full list) and, if published, the public.

How long it is kept

Your contact details and individual responses are deleted no later than 31 March 2027.
